2025–2026 Academic Year First-Year Orientation Program Was Held

     Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine kicked off the new academic year with great enthusiasm through the Orientation Program organized to prepare first-year students for university life.

     Held at the SB Conference Hall on September 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., the program was attended by faculty members, administrative staff, and students. Within the scope of the program, comprehensive information was shared both about academic processes and campus life.

Program Flow

Dr. Selin ILDIR delivered the opening speech titled “From the First Step to Graduation”, inspiring and guiding students as they embark on their faculty journey.

Prof. Dr. Gülden ÇELİK, Head of the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, welcomed the students with an opening address.

Dean Prof. Dr. Merter YALÇINKAYA shared the vision of the faculty, the expectations from students, and emphasized that he will always be by their side.

Student Dean Dr. Ömer VATANARTIRAN, in his speech titled “Being a Student at BAU”, highlighted the social, cultural, and academic opportunities offered by the university.

İlayda ŞEN, Representative of the Student Affairs Department, presented “Student Affairs and Academic Processes”, explaining the administrative procedures students will frequently need.

Arzu KULİĞ, Head of the Library and Documentation Department, together with Electronic Resources Specialist Erdem KARAASLAN, provided information on “Library Use and Borrowing Processes”.

Finally, the program concluded with a presentation by Dr. Lecturer Merve KARAYEL BAŞAR, First-Year Coordinator of the Faculty of Medicine, titled “The First Year in Medical School”, offering students insights into the initial stages of their academic journey.
