The 2025 Istanbul International Summer Music Academy was successfully held at Bahçeşehir University Conservatory between August 4 and 8, 2025. The event, which featured students from countries such as France, the USA, and Korea, focused on flute and piano this year.
Participants experienced an intensive and productive program each day, featuring masterclasses, chamber music sessions, performance workshops, jazz music sessions, instrument maintenance seminars, and professional meetings with expert instructors.
The academy concluded with exciting closing concerts held at BAU Pera Stage on August 7 and 8. BAU Conservatory Director Dr. İsmet Aydın congratulated and thanked all instructors and students who successfully completed their training, which was led by artists and academics such as BAU faculty member Prof. Dr. Hyun Sook Tekin, Sibel Pense, Yağmur Soydemir, and Leo Pensel.
The BAU Summer Academy offered an unparalleled learning and performance experience at an international level for students seeking quality music education.
