Biliary Atresia and Liver Transplantation Symposium in Children was held at Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine

     Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine hosted the “Children with Biliary Atresia and Liver Transplantation Symposium” on June 14, 2025. The symposium addressed the diagnosis, treatment and liver transplantation processes of biliary atresia in a multidisciplinary manner with clinical, surgical and experimental aspects.

    While many physicians who are experts in their fields contributed to the event with their presentations, current developments in pediatric cholestasis physiopathology, diagnostic and treatment approaches in biliary atresia, nutritional management, surgical decision processes, 3D simulation techniques and domestic and international experience sharing were among the topics on the agenda.

    The symposium brought together academicians, experts and students, increasing the sharing of information on pediatric liver diseases.
