In collaboration with Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, and the Bobath Association, the scientific program titled “Looking Ahead: A Roadmap for Multidisciplinary Treatment in Cerebral Palsy” will bring together esteemed experts in pediatric neurology, orthopedics, physiotherapy, and developmental kinesiology to explore recent scientific advances, clinical experiences, and the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation in the field of cerebral palsy.
The program will be enriched by the participation of two internationally renowned guests: Prof. Dr. Guy Molenaers and Physiotherapist Josse de Cat. Together with them, current approaches in cerebral palsy management—including botulinum toxin applications, orthopedic surgical decision-making, and clinical reasoning within the framework of the Bobath concept—will be revisited.
Additionally, with the contributions of scientists from various universities across Türkiye, key topics such as early intervention, gait analysis, scoliosis management, and hip surgery in cerebral palsy will be discussed from a multidisciplinary perspective.
