The HEBİPA Spring Course Was Held at BAU Faculty of Medicine and VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital.

The Spring Course of the Hepato-Gastroenterology Association (HEBİPA), organized under the leadership of Gastroenterology Specialist Prof. Dr. H. Levent Doğanay, was successfully held on April 11–12, 2025, with great interest and high participation at VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital and Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine.

Aiming to closely follow scientific advancements, share up-to-date clinical practices, and encourage knowledge exchange among experts, the course brought together academics, researchers, and clinicians from 40 different cities in Turkey as well as from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The opening speech was delivered by Prof. Dr. H. Levent Doğanay, and the event was also attended by HEBİPA President Prof. Dr. Hale Gökcan and other members of the association’s executive board.

On the first day of the course, live broadcasts from the endoscopy and colonoscopy procedure rooms allowed participants to observe and learn from various procedures, including Basic Endosonography, Endoscopic Reflux Treatments (TIF), Fibroscan, and Gastric Balloon Applications.

On the second day, practical training sessions were held at the Rhoton Laboratory of Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Medicine, where participants had the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge on training models.

This comprehensive two-day training program served as a valuable platform to enhance participants’ professional skills and strengthen scientific collaboration in the field of gastroenterology.
