The long-standing collaboration efforts between our Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Antwerp in the fields of education, research, scientific events, and exchange programs have recently reached an important milestone.
The meeting held at our university was attended by our University Advisor to the Rector, Prof. Sedat Aybar, along with Prof. Dr. Dirk Vissers and Marnix Van Roosbroeck from the University of Antwerp.
During the meeting, under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Kubilay Beng and Prof. Dr. Zeynep İyigün, a roadmap was developed in line with the shared project goals identified between the two institutions. This collaboration aims to provide students with international experience in education, foster joint innovative solutions in research projects, and organize shared events in scientific fields.
This major step has created great excitement among both our faculty members and students. Looking ahead, this partnership is expected to generate more academic opportunities and contribute significantly to science on a global scale.
