At the 25th Direklerarası Theater Awards, BAU Conservatory Performing Arts faculty members received three awards. The play Stunt's Dilemma, directed by Dr. Sercan Özinan, won the Season's Notable Play award, while the play Aşk Listesi, directed by Lecturer Serkan Üstüner, won the Comedy Play of the Year award. The Vasıf Öngören Special Award was received by Mitos-Boyut publishing house founder Yılmaz Öğüt on behalf of the publishing house writer and translator Prof. Dr. Senem Cevher.
