The 7th Local Advocacy School was held on May 24-25 at Marmara Municipalities Union, organized in collaboration with the Local Monitoring, Research, and Implementation Association (YERELİZ), Marmara Municipalities Union, and Bahçeşehir University Migration and Urban Studies Research and Application Center (BAUMUS), with the support of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Turkey Office.
Held annually, this year's event focused on the theme of "Strategic Planning for Inclusive and Sustainable Cities," offering an in-depth program on how to develop strategic plans for creating sustainable and inclusive cities. The two-day event brought together distinguished academics, representatives from key civil society organizations, and engaged participants.
One of the key speakers of the program was Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, Founding Director of BAUMUS.
