The first phase of the MiDiGo Project ended after the design of the program was completed. During this difficult but enjoyable journey, numerous meetings and discussions were held with partner organizations. The closing conference was held at Bahçeşehir University with the participation of our partners, and additional meetings were held for the next steps of the project.
The “Migration, Diversity, and Governance” (MiDiGo) EMDM Project, funded by the European Commission, aims to create an integrated transnational master's program in migration, diversity, and governance across Europe, focusing on the Mediterranean region. In this context, a joint mechanism has been developed with partner higher education institutions. The project is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, Founding Director of the Bahçeşehir University Migration and Urban Studies Research and Application Center. The MiDiGo international consortium consists of leading research institutions in the field: Pompeu Fabra University (UPF) in Spain, Luiss Guido Carli University in Italy, Fulda University of Applied Sciences in Germany, and the American University in Cairo (AUC) in Egypt.
