On February 14, Archidesign Talks begins its first event of the 2024-2025 Spring Semester.
In this event, we will host Gizem Durakoğlu, Senior Lead Designer at Beko, for a talk on "AI Integration in Product Design," moderated by Renk Dimli Oraklıbel.
Gizem Durakoğlu / Senior Lead Designer at Beko
Gizem Durakoğlu graduated in Industrial Design from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and completed her education in Design Culture and Management at Istanbul Bilgi University. With over 17 years of experience at Beko, she has designed small home appliances and electronic products for brands like Arçelik, Beko, and Grundig.
She leads design trend research at Beko and has recently been pioneering the integration of AI into the design process, developing an AI ecosystem to enhance creativity and efficiency. Her award-winning work, recognized by Red Dot and iF Design Awards, extends beyond product design to AI-generated artworks and innovative music video projects.
Gizem is also a guest lecturer, design competition jury member, and certified expert in color theory. She continues to explore the intersection of technology and aesthetics, pushing the boundaries of innovation in design.
