Prof. Dr. Cengiz Çakmak, Head of the Department of Philosophy at Istanbul University, gave a seminar on Living the World with Art: Dionysus and Eros at our conservatory. In the seminar attended by our students and faculty members, the metaphorical position of Dionysus and Eros, two important gods of creativity in Ancient Greek mythology, in the 21st century understanding of art was examined with a philosophical discussion. This enjoyable discussion was completed after the question and answer session with the students.
