Orientation Excitement for New Students at Bahçeşehir University!
Bahçeşehir University (BAU) organized a comprehensive orientation program for new students at the start of the academic year. Held between September 30 and October 4, 2024, the program aimed to provide students with essential information on academic, social, and administrative matters. Conducted across BAU’s various campuses, these sessions were tailored to meet the specific needs of each faculty, offering detailed and relevant content.
Strong Participation Across Campuses
The orientation sessions were carefully planned to align with the programs and faculties of the students. On the first day, international students, along with those from the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Law, gathered at BAU’s South Campus. The events, held in the Fazıl Say Conference Hall, provided a welcoming and engaging atmosphere for the participants.
The second day moved to BAU’s North Campus, where sessions were conducted for the Faculty of Architecture and Design, the Faculty of Health Sciences, and the Vocational School of Health Services. Held in the KA-KONF Hall, these sessions offered both academic insights and an introduction to the university environment.
The third day continued at BAU’s Pera and Galata campuses, featuring orientation programs for students of the Conservatory and the Faculty of Communication. These sessions emphasized the unique opportunities and resources available to students in creative fields.
Throughout the week, orientation programs for the Faculties of Educational Sciences, Engineering and Natural Sciences, Dentistry, Foreign Languages, and Pharmacy were also held. Additionally, the orientation for the Faculty of Foreign Languages was conducted online via MS Teams, taking full advantage of remote learning tools.

One of the highlights of the orientation week was the participation of BAU Rector, Prof. Dr. Esra Hatipoğlu, and Dean of Students, Dr. Ömer Vatanartıran. During their opening remarks, they emphasized the university’s core objectives and the extensive opportunities provided to students.
