The symposium, which is carried out with the cooperation of academicians from Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design and Mukogawa Women’s University Faculty of Architecture in Japan, and with the grant support of the Japanese Agency for Cultural Affairs, will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, between 18:00-20:00 at the Bahçeşehir University Fazıl Say Conference Hall. During the symposium, the research results and design project proposals of the “Revival of the Historical Urban Fabric of Antakya” international project will be shared.
The findings and proposals of this project, which is carried out with the aim of protecting and revitalizing the rich cultural heritage of Antakya, will be presented by Turkish and Japanese academicians at the symposium. The event, which will provide simultaneous translation support in Turkish and Japanese, aims to contribute to international cultural collaborations and the sustainable preservation of historical urban fabrics.
