Bahçeşehir University (BAU) has announced a new cooperation with the University of Kent, Canterbury (UKENT), one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom. The cooperation is centered around a preparation year program called the "International Foundation Program," which provides high school students in Turkey with a great opportunity to receive a university education in the UK.
Under the program, students receive English courses and subject courses for the departments they wish to study, and upon successful completion, they will be able to continue their education in the UK at the University of Kent, Canterbury. To apply, students must have a diploma grade of 70 or higher and a minimum of 5 IELTS grade.
The program, which will be available at Bahçeşehir University, offers pathways in Business Administration, Mathematics and Statistics, and Economics. The curriculum is prepared by the University of Kent, Canterbury.
The cooperation was formally established with a signature ceremony held at the BAU Beşiktaş Campus. The protocol was signed by BAU General Secretary Ziya Alpay and the University of Kent, Canterbury, Pro Vice Chancellor – External, Prof. Dr. Alex Hughes.
