The 6th Local Advocacy School, organized in cooperation with the Local Monitoring, Research and Implementations Association (YERELİZ) and Bahçeşehir University Center of Migration and Urban Studies (BAUMUS), was held at Bahçeşehir University on April 1-2.
This event, which is held every year, was planned with the special title of 'Earthquake Resistant Cities' this year in order to answer the questions focused on earthquakes, which increased after February 6, on common ground and to contribute to strengthening together. At the end of two days, an effective program emerged with the support of many valuable teachers, important NGOs, and participants.
'Planning the Future by Learning from the Past' session was moderated by the Founding Director of BAUMUS Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata. Firstly, Öncü Kırlangıç from Düzce Umut Evleri, then Remzi Çelik from Koşuyolu 72 Saat Çalışma Grubu, and finally Ayhan Kara from Hatay Ortak Meselemiz gave their speeches.
