This Monday, May 15, ArchiDesign Timber Talks ’22-23 will be hosting Oliver Sterl.
Oliver Sterl is a distinguished architect and currently serves as the Partner and Managing Director of RLP Rüdiger Lainer + Partner. With an impressive portfolio of major buildings, Sterl has played a pivotal role as a project manager and collaborator alongside Rüdiger Lainer. His notable projects include the Cineplexx Center in Salzburg (2001), the extension of Favoritenstraße in Vienna (2005), and the Chamber of Commerce in St. Pölten (2005). Sterl has also made significant contributions to architectural endeavors such as the housing complex and kindergarten, Haus mit Veranden, in Vienna (2008), the Apartment and old-people-residence in Döbling, Vienna (2012), and various apartment buildings throughout Vienna (2014).
Throughout his career, Sterl has displayed a strong commitment to architectural excellence and innovation. He has been involved in notable projects such as the extension of Schottenring 19 in Vienna (2015), the residential project Sonnwend-Quartier (2017), the apartment building and serviced apartments in Quartier Belvedere Central (2018), and the pioneering timber high-rise, HoHo Wien (2019). Notably, Sterl also contributed to the housing complex and hotel/office building, Biotope City (2020), and the upcoming MGC high rise (2023).
