In cooperation with T.R. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomacy Academy, Bahçeşehir University Civilizations Research Center (MEDAM) and Government Leadership School (HLO), organized “2nd Qatar Turkish Diplomacy Program” for the diplomat candidates of Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The program was held between December the 30th 2012-January the 3rd 2013.
In the program prepared by the specialist lecturers from Bahçeşehir University and other several universities from Istanbul in addition to T.R. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Diplomacy Academy, seminars were given with regard to the following issues; the dynamics of Turkish foreign policy, global security, Turkish political system, Turkey-Europe Union relationships, modern Turkish History, Integration process of Turkish economy to Middle East region, energy policy of Turkey and the principals of Turkish foreign policy.
Prof. Dr. Bülent Aras, Prof. Dr. Sabri Sayarı, Prof. Dr. Necip Çakır, Prof. Dr. Mert Bilgin, Doç. Dr. İbrahim Kalın, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Resul Usül, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Özel and MEDAM Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burhan Köroğlu participated the seminars as speakers.
In addition to academic seminars, in the scope of cultural activities Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, Yıldız Palace, IRCICA and Bosporus tour and Bursa trip were organized for the diplomat candidates from Qatar.
On January the 3rd the closing ceremony of the program was held in Bahçeşehir University Academy Café with the cooperation of Istanbul, Qatar Consulate.

Al-Maadid, Qatar Istanbul Consulate General; Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, the Rector of Bahçeşehir University, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Güngör; Vice Rector; Prof. Dr. Hasan Şimşek; Prof. Dr. Bülent Aras, President of T.R. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Strategic Researches Center; Assoc. Professor Dr. Burhan Köroğlu the Director of Civilizations Research Center, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burak Küntay, the Director of Government Leadership School.
