Child Law symposium, organized in cooperation with Bahcesehir University and Istanbul Arel University, was held on 16 December 2022 at Bahcesehir University Fazıl Say Conference Hall.
In the final session “Climate, Migration and Children”, the founding director of Bahçeşehir University Center of Migration and Urban Studies Prof. Dr. Ulaş Sunata, gave her speech titled “Migrant childrens’ right to education” where she addressed the intersectionality of the issue of access to education for migrant and refugee children. She also emphasized the multidisciplinarity of this issue, in which teams consisting of sociologists, lawyers, and psychologists should provide joint solutions.
