From the Past to the Future: Conference on the 61st Anniversary of Migration From Turkey to Germany Was Held!

With the contributions of the Provincial Immigration Administration at the Turkish-German University, a special conference for the 61st anniversary of the migration of Turks to Germany was held on 21 November 2022 at the Turkish-German University.

The conference started with the exhibition “Migration to Germany with Photographs”. the opening speech of the conference was given by Turkish-German University Rector Prof. Dr. Made by Cemal Yıldız. In his speech, he evaluated the migration phenomenon and drew attention to the diplomatic and socio-economic dimensions of migration to Germany.

In the first session of the symposium, the Founding Director of Bahçeşehir University Center of Migration and Urban Studies Prof. Dr. Ulaş SUNATA made a presentation titled “Sociological Perspective on the History of Migration on the Turkey-Germany Line”
