BAU and HUAWEI Collaboration Expands More With Cloud Service

The cooperation between BAU and Huawei, which started with the renewal of the Future Campus network infrastructure with the Huawei infrastructure; gained a new momentum with the preference of Huawei Cloud solutions by BAU Global Education Institutions. “Huawei Connect”, one of the international events organized by Huawei every year, takes place in Paris between 17-18 October this year. A new cooperation agreement was signed between Bahçeşehir University and Huawei Turkey in the organization with the theme of 'Unleash Digital'.

In line with this agreement, Huawei will ensure that Bahçeşehir Education Group's data is kept in Turkey, with the "Public Cloud" service it will first offer at Bahçeşehir University Future Campus. With the signed protocol, Bahçeşehir University will also be the first university in Turkey to receive public cloud service from a local cloud service provider. With this agreement, Bahçeşehir University, one of the first educational institutions integrated into the digital environment, will manage all its data via the Huawei CLOUD service. Bahçeşehir University will also receive an important certificate in this field with the training it will receive from Huawei on cloud products and cloud technologies. Within the framework of the cooperation between the two institutions, it is planned to use several different technologies such as relational database service and big data, as well as storage and network technologies.

Cooperation in Different Fields with Huawei & BAU Learning Platform

It is decided to work together in fields such as health, education and agriculture. It focuses on developing educational integrations and innovative solutions in areas such as 5G, big data, and the Internet of Things. Bahçeşehir University recently renewed the internet infrastructure of the BAU Future Campus area with the Wi-Fi 6 connection developed by Huawei. With this project, nearly 2,500 students, as well as administrative staff and academicians working on the campus, will benefit from the advantages of high-speed internet. In the project process of BAU Global Education Institutions, different PaaS technologies such as Relational Database Service and Big Data will be used by Huawei Cloud Computing, as well as Storage and Network Technologies.
