ArchiDesign Talks - Fernando Ramos

ArchiDesign Talks '22 continues with Fernando Ramos on Monday, 2 May. Ramos received his doctorate in architecture in 1973 from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He works as a full-time professor at ETSA Valencia and Barcelona. Over his 40 years of experience, he has served as director of ETSA Barcelona (1984-1991) and chair of the Advisory Committee for Training in Architecture of the European Community (1991-94). Some of the important works in his independent architectural practice include the reconstruction of the German Pavilion in Barcelona designed by Mies van der Rohe, the Can Carreras houses and surroundings (Barcelona), and the roof restoration of the National Palace of Montjuïc, on which he worked with Gae Aulenti. In 2015, he received the Médaille d'Argent from l'Académie d'Architecture de France.
