Yuki Ikeguchi is a Partner Architect at Kengo & Kuma Associates (KKAA) in Tokyo. She led the project of Odunpazarı Modern Museum (OMM) in Eskişehir, designed by Kengo & Kuma Associates. Water Culture House in Copenhagen-Denmark, Hans Christian Andersen House of Fairytales, Padova Congress Center in Veneto-Italy, Albert Khan Garden Museum in Paris-France, Granada Performing Arts Center, Granada-Spain are also among the projects designed by their studio.
Yuki Ikeguchi expresses her design approach with the following words:
“Fundamentals in my design approach are biophilic design that appeals to our senses, to generate the form of architecture in response to the surroundings, culture, history, and to the life between buildings through in-depth analysis and observations in micro/ macro scales simultaneously.”
