This Thursday, April 14, ArchiDesign Talks'22 will continue with Pınar Sezginalp. Dr. Pınar Sezginalp achieved her B.A. from Bilkent University, department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2008, M. Des. from İzmir University of Economics from Design Studies. She pursued her doctoral research within the exchange program in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2013, and obtained her Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University from the Architectural History department in 2017. Sezginalp lectured in Kadir Has University and MEF University in 2015 and 2016, taught History of Architecture and Interior Design, History of Art and Design, Basic Design Studio and Visual Communication Studio for Interior Architecture students. Dr. Sezginalp is now an Asst. Prof. in Özyeğin University Faculty of Architecture and Design, where she instructs in Interior Design Studios and lectures History of Architecture, Dwelling and Domesticity, and History of Modern Architecture and Interior Design in Turkey. Her research interests are History and Historiography of Modern Architecture and Interior Design, Dwelling, Domesticity and Home-making practice in Modern Turkey, Gender and Architecture, Residential Interiors, Documentation of the Modern Interior Architecture in Turkey, Digital Archives and Architectural Heritage. Pınar Sezginalp is a member of DOCOMOMO International Organization and DOCOMOMO Turkey Interiors Committee.
