BAU Is Among The World's Best Young Universities

Times Higher Education Young University Rankings lists the best universities aged 50 and under worldwide and it has announced the 2022 ranking. BAU ranked 5th among 52 universities in Turkey.

According to the "World Young Universities Ranking 2022" data prepared by the UK-based international higher education rating agency Times Higher Education (THE), the number of universities that can enter the ranking in Turkey increased by 29% from 31 to 40.

In 2022, with the world's best young universities ranking, higher education institutions under 50 years across the world were evaluated. Universities were evaluated according to 13 criteria determined under the titles of education, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

In the ranking, universities that choose English as their education language where are at the top; Koç University from Turkey is ranked 1st among foundation universities; Çankaya University ranked 2nd, Sabancı University 3rd, Bilkent University 4th and Bahçeşehir University 5th.
