Dear Students,
As BAU School of Dental Medicine, our courses in the Spring semester of the 2020-2021 Academic Year are planned as online synchronous and hybrid. All of our theoretical and applied courses in March will be carried out online synchronously via MS Teams. Depending on the course of the epidemic and the number of cases to be announced, the application principles of the courses may be changed after the re-assessment of the Ministry of Health and YÖK in the middle of the semester.
In case the course of the epidemic changes positively, the applied lessons will be held with a minimum number of students in "Diluted Groups", following the epidemic measures as we did at the beginning of the year. Students who are abroad and/or cannot come to the campus will be able to attend the applied classes from their homes, online synchronously, in accordance with the Hybrid System. These students will not be treated unfairly in any way, and all of our students will be subjected to the same assessment-evaluation system. However, at the end of the spring semester, it is aimed to repeat our applied courses in the 2020-2021 Fall and Spring semesters face-to-face with our students.
As BAU School of Dental Medicine family, we will overcome these difficult days the humanity endures, together with you, the future physician candidates, by keeping our education and training quality at the highest level, as the soldiers of the Turkish Health Army, befitting the honor of our profession.
