Like every country, Turkey also has a leadership quality in this topic and is in an exemplary country position. Turkey took an important stand by signing Paris Agreement. The totality of Turkey needs to have an awareness about climate change. Education is very important at this point, it shapes and changes the behaviors of both citizens and students. Therefore what BAU Global President Enver Yücel does is extremely valuable and important. We can only solve climate change if we move collectively.”
Noting the importance of creating awareness on climate change with education, Seth, “We have a partnership with Bahçeşehir University and our hope is for every school to have a curriculum about climate. If teachers draw attention to the horrible consequences of climate change then students will realize the issue and internalize it. The problem we are facing is extremely serious. The society also has responsibilities. The media has a significant duty to better announce the consequences and effects of climate change. Waste and energy minimization of citizens and encouragement to citizens on renewable energy are required. Especially about solar power. There are very beautiful potentials for us to move forward on the fight against climate change and it is needed to go forward."

Therefore it showed the people to take precautions about agriculture, sustainable development, and climate. We, as a university, are doing an application area about agriculture in Giresun. In this area, we want to raise the interest and concern of both our people and our students towards agriculture. Agricultural activity in Turkey needs to be much better.
