A Member of BAU Global Education Network, which has 9 universities and 4 language schools on 3 different continents in 11 countries, Berlin International University of Applied Sciences had its 5th graduation. Berlin International University of Applied Sciences said goodbye to its almost 147 new graduates from 89 different countries with its graduation ceremony on 30th October.
Ambassador of Turkey in Berlin Ahmet Başar Şen, BAU Global President Enver Yücel, Bahçeşehir University President Prof. Dr. Şirin Karadeniz, Berlin International University of Applied Sciences President Prof. Yüksel Pögün-Zander, Honorary President Hans-Dieter Klingemann, academicians and a vast number of students and their parents joined the graduation ceremony held at Mercure Hotel MOA Berlin.
Firstly, Berlin International University of Applied Sciences President Prof. Yüksel Pögün-Zander came forwards to make the opening speech and after greeting the students she expressed that she shares the excitement and happiness of all graduates on this special day.
BAU Global President Enver Yücel talked about how universities grow with their graduates in his graduation ceremony speech and told the youth that they will always be a part of this family. While sharing his experiences with the graduates Yücel said: “Sometimes you will fail, sometimes you will fall… Be afraid of neither failing nor falling. But be afraid of not getting up after falling. There will be obstacles on your way. But there is no obstacle you can't get through if you determine your destination.”
This line from Yücel received big applause in the hall: “Don't discriminate language, religion, race, color. Never forget that multiculturalism is a wealth.”
Ambassador of Turkey in Berlin Ahmet Başar Şen also gave a speech at the graduation ceremony expressing that he is proud of the students and said: “I share the excitement of all students and their dear families. You are the future. I am sure that you will keep inspiring yourselves for a better life. I wish you all a future filled with friendship, respect, and love. With the contributions of Enver Yücel, BAU Global continues to increase its success not only with students in Berlin but also with students from all over the world, with its academic staff and global network since its establishment. After stating that migration from Turkey is not only possible with labor migrations but also with academicians and academic community, Şen completed his words with “This adds more color and culture. I wish you all success.”
