BAU Graduate School of Health Sciences 2021-22 Academic Year Strategic Planning Meeting took place with the participation of BAU Global President Enver Yücel, BAU Graduate School President Fatma Özkul, Founding Dean of BAU Faculty of Medicine Prof. Dr. Türker Kılıç, and our professors from the medical industry.
Four years ago Bahçeşehir University’s graduate schools gathered under a single roof with YÖK’s (Turkish Council of Higher Education) decision and started teaching under the Graduate School of Health Sciences name. Graduate School of Health Sciences’ success and future was talked about in the meeting. It was pointed out that with the pandemic, the importance that is given to health highly increased.
At the meeting, it was also underlined that the main place to study science is in institutes, and in this regard number of publications was increased.
Enhancing corporate cooperations, new graduate programs that will and are planned to be open were also discussed. The weakness of initiatives in Turkey for the elderly was also mentioned. For this aim, establishing a master's program for ‘Life Villages’ was talked about.
