BAU Is Among The Best Universities In The World and Turkey

Times Higher Education (THE), the most creditable ranking institution in the world, announced the results of “World University Rankings 2022”. In the ranking, which includes the best universities in the world and Turkey, British and American universities kept their places in the top 5. Among the foundation universities from Turkey, Koç, Sabancı, Bilkent and Bahçeşehir Universities were at the top of the list.

BEST UNIVERSITIES IN THE WORLD AND TURKEY ARE ANNOUNCED

Times Higher Education (THE), is seen as the most reliable ranking list to which the best universities in the world get determined based on their fields since 2010. This year's list included more than 1,600 universities from 99 countries and regions. Universities on the list were taken into account based on criteria such as; teaching, research, citations, international outlook, and industry income. In the overall ranking, Turkey listed as in the order of; Çankaya University, Koç University, Sabancı University, Bilkent University, Hacettepe University, İstanbul Technical University, Middle East Technical University, İstanbul University, Bahçeşehir University, and Boğaziçi University. Around the world, Oxford University ranked first while California Institute of Technology, Harvard University, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Cambridge University followed.

In the list where universities in Turkey are ranked in the field of 'International Outlook, the best 4 foundation universities in the 801-1000 band are; Bilkent University, Sabancı University, Koç University, Özyeğin University, and Bahçeşehir University. The order of the universities in the field of 'Citation' is; Çankaya University, Koç University, Bilkent University, Bahçeşehir University, Sabancı University, and Özyeğin University. Lastly, the efficiency of universities in the field of 'Research' is examined and listed in the order of; Sabancı University, Koç University, Bilkent University, and Bahçeşehir University.
