Council of Higher Education (YÖK) published the “Foundation Higher Education Institutions 2021” report. The achievements of the universities were evaluated by YÖK in various categories. BAU remains at the top in these categories.
According to the YÖK Foundation Higher Education Institutions 2021 report, BAU ranked 1st in the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions by Number of Foreign Students" with 5,589 foreign students!
BAU ranks fifth in the “Foundation University Ranking by Total Number of Students”. 1486 of these students are associate degree students, 19,830 are undergraduate and 5906 are graduate students. Thus, BAU is among the “Top 20 Foundation Universities with the Most Students” with a total number of 27,222 students.
BAU ranks 8th according to the “Total Number of Printed Books in Libraries”. In the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions by Library Expenditure" ranking, it is in the 3rd place with an expenditure of 6,384,854 liras.
Bahçeşehir University became the 7th University in the "Total R&D Expenditures" ranking. 16,274 847.6 of BAU's total R&D expenditure of 29,524,918.2 TL was for internal R&D expenditure.
The report also included rankings made around the world. In the results of the Times Higher Education World Rankings report, Bahçeşehir University ranked among the universities in Turkey.
