Important Information about the 2020 - 2021 BAU Graduation Ceremony and Prospective Graduate Lists
Dear Graduates,
Like the rest of the world, our country has been under the threat of a global pandemic for quite some time. With economic problems added to the great pain of lives lost, humanity unfortunately continues to face serious challenges. We hope that humanity will emerge from this process as soon as possible, in the light of science and having internalized the value of solidarity.
You lived through the final period of your university studies during such a severe pandemic, when the whole world was trying to get through it under quarantine and behind masks. During this difficult time, as members of the BAU community, we continued our education despite everything through hybrid learning. Although being face to face, side by side, is something else entirely… We were fortunate, because you, our students, who understand the world so well, showed a high level of awareness and good judgment.
Despite everything, we overcame all the difficulties together; you succeeded, and now you are graduating.
This year, due to the pandemic, we have once again planned our graduation ceremony, which we celebrate with great enthusiasm every year, in two stages. We will hold our first ceremony on an online platform on 25 July 2021, bringing our whole family together. We will hold our second ceremony at Future Campus between 26 and 30 July, by faculty and department, in accordance with the program below and in compliance with pandemic rules. Graduates who are unable to come to campus will be able to join the second ceremony online if they wish. With enthusiasm and joy, just as in the days when we were all together. We believe that while your honorable BAU diploma brings a bright future to your life, you will always keep this ceremony, unique to your time, alive in your hearts as a memory of your unforgettable years at BAU.
We wish you a new life full of success, happiness and health.
Despite the sadness of parting, we are happy to know that we will always remain together on humanity's virtuous path, in thought, science, work, service and success.

- The Online Graduation Ceremony can be watched on the Bahçeşehir University YouTube account. https://www.youtube.com/user/bahcesehiruniversity
- After the main graduation ceremony, graduating students will attend the graduation ceremonies to be held at Future Campus on the dates and times specified for their faculty departments. Graduates who will not attend the ceremony at Future Campus will be able to follow it on the Bahçeşehir University YouTube account.
- Due to pandemic conditions, we kindly ask our students to attend the faculty-based in-person graduation ceremony with a maximum of 2 guests. Graduating students must be at Future Campus one hour before the ceremony begins.
- The gown rental office will be set up in classroom B204 between 28.06.2021 and 17.07.2021, from 09:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00. Rented gowns can be returned between 02.08.2021 and 28.08.2021, from 09:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:00, upon presentation of the receipt . The office is closed on Sundays.
- We would like you to follow and support the posts about the graduation ceremony on our University's social media accounts.
- The participation criteria for the graduation ceremony are as follows. If you believe you meet the graduation criteria and your name is not on the list, you can submit a request by writing your student number, Turkish ID number, full name, department and faculty to organizasyon@cco.bau.edu.tr .
2020-2021 GRADUATION CEREMONY PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
Associate Degree:
- Students enrolled at the Vocational School of Health Services who started their associate degree studies in the 2018-2019 academic year or later and have 33 credits remaining, excluding courses currently taken
- Students who graduated at the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester
- Students who graduated at the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester
Undergraduate:
- Students who enrolled in a major program in the 2016-2017 academic year or later and have 33 credits remaining, excluding courses currently taken
- Students who graduated at the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year Spring Semester
- Students who graduated at the end of the 2020-2021 Academic Year Fall Semester
Master's:
- Non-Thesis (Project) Programs:
Students who have already graduated
Students who have completed all their courses and are registered for the project course
- Thesis Programs:
Students who have already graduated,
Students registered for the Thesis 2 course
