Dear students,
As the Faculty of Dentistry, the courses for the 2020-2021 Spring term have been planned online synchronous and hybrid. All our theoretical and applied courses will be held online synchronously via MS Teams during March. • Based on the number of cases to be announced according to the course of the pandemic and following the assessments to be made by T.R Ministry of Health and the Council of Higher Education in the middle of the term depending on the course of the pandemic, changes might be realized on the application principles of the courses.
If the course of the pandemic changes in the positive direction, the applied courses will be held with minimum number of students in “Reduced Groups” following the pandemic precautions like we already did at the beginning of the year. The students who are abroad and / or who cannot be available on the campus can attend the applied courses online in accordance with the Hybrid System from their home. These students will not suffer in any way and all of our students will be subjected to the same assessment and evaluation system. Besides, it is aimed to repeat the applied courses for 2020-2021 Fall and Spring Terms as face-to-face upon the request of the students, at the end of the Spring Term.
As the family of BAU Faculty of Dentistry, we will overcome this challenging period which the entire humanity is going through, all together with you, the future’s doctor candidates, by keeping our education and training quality at the highest level, befitting the honor of our profession, and as the soldiers of the Turkish Health Army.
