Announcement on the Spring Semester Hybrid Education Planning of the Faculty of Dentistry

Dear Students,

At the BAU Faculty of Dentistry, our courses in the Spring semester of the 2020-2021 academic year have been planned as online synchronous and hybrid. All our theoretical and practical courses in March will be delivered online synchronously via MS Teams. Depending on the case numbers announced in line with the course of the pandemic, the implementation principles of courses may be changed following a mid-semester reassessment by the Ministry of Health and YÖK.

If the course of the pandemic improves, practical courses will be held, as at the beginning of the year, in compliance with pandemic measures and in "Reduced Groups" with a minimum number of students. Students who are abroad and/or cannot come to campus will be able to attend practical courses online synchronously from home in line with the Hybrid System. These students will not be disadvantaged in any way, and all our students will be subject to the same assessment and evaluation system. In addition, at the end of the Spring semester, we aim to repeat the practical courses of the 2020-2021 Fall and Spring semesters face-to-face for students who wish to attend.

As the BAU Faculty of Dentistry family, we will get through these difficult days that humanity is facing together with you, the physicians of the future, as members of Türkiye's healthcare community, in a manner worthy of the honor of our profession and while keeping our educational quality at the highest level.
