Announcement on the Spring Semester Hybrid Education Planning of the Faculty of Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences

Dear Students,
 
Throughout the pandemic, putting your health first, we have continued our education and training activities with great effort and with your support, in line with the decisions of the Ministry of Health, the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and our University, to the extent permitted by the rules and conditions. We are fortunate that, in addition to our courses, we have had the opportunity to be with you through numerous virtual events organized by many of our departments and centers during this period.
 
We are excited and happy to be together with you again in the Spring semester, which begins on Monday, 1 March 2021, in our courses with updated content, in certificate programs carried out with external stakeholders, in branded courses and in many events that will support your development in different areas. We would very much like to be together with you on our campus in the Spring semester. However, the new mutated variants of the virus, together with high case numbers and transmission risk, require us to follow the precautions carefully. Within the framework of pandemic conditions, our campuses will remain open to you, as always.
 
For the Spring 2021 semester, courses in our Faculty have been planned in line with the hybrid university model. Unless the Ministry of Health and the Scientific Committee issue different guidance in the coming days and YÖK decides otherwise, some of our courses will be delivered online and some in hybrid format. For the courses we have planned as hybrid, we have completed all necessary preparations to switch to face-to-face instruction in parallel with a decline in case numbers. Within the hybrid education model and in line with the YÖK directive, some weeks of our courses may be held face-to-face with a limited number of participants. We are also pleased to announce that we are continuing our preparations to hold all academic activities of the Summer term face-to-face on our campus.
 
As you know, as the entire BAU family, we are working with dedication to ensure that your university education continues uninterrupted and that the distance education system runs smoothly. We miss you and feel your absence. Your messages, comments and requests have been very helpful to us during this process. We always want to hear your voice and listen to your views on every matter. On this occasion, we would like to thank our valued academics and administrative staff for their dedicated work. We wish all valued members of the BAU FEASS family, our dear students, academics and administrative staff, a semester full of health, happiness and success.
