Dear students,
As the rectorate of Bahcesehir University, we continue our education process as hybrid university as we have announced during September as the result of comprehensive negotiations with authorized health institutions, our medical school and other stakeholders. We have completed our 2021 spring term plans taking into consideration the health and pandemic conditions. By prioritizing the health and safety of all BAU members and in line with the decisions we have taken through meticulously, we come to a decision that we will continue our education process as hybrid during 2021 spring term together with our BAU Senate and Board of Directors. In this regard, all of our faculty, school and institute managements have completed their lesson schedules. Within this scope, we would like to specify that theoretical courses will be held online and applied courses will be held through a hybrid method. The lesson schedules will be announced by the related academic unit you have been registered (faculty, school, institute). You can call your faculty, school and institute to get an information. The laboratories and application areas can be used in compliance with the health measures taken at our campuses.
Even though we would like to return to the campuses full time with our all units, new mutated variants of the virus and the high number of cases as well as the risk of transmission require all of us to pay high attention to the precautions.
We would like to say that we are ready in terms of all kind of studies and efforts we have put into in order to return to the face-to-face education in parallel to the increase in the vaccination numbers and decreases in the case number that we hope to see in the near future. We have a strong belief that we will be able to carry out our all academical studies at the campuses during the summer term, and accordingly, we are conducting all kinds of studies in this regard.

We are closely following the all national and international processes regarding the pandemic and we have prepared ourselves for any new decision. Through this understanding, as a BAU family, we hope to leave this process behind us by doing our best in this extraordinary period. We would like to express our gratitude to our precious students, especially our academicians, our families and all our administrative staff.
