Important Announcement About 2020-2021 Fall Semester Exams

Final, resit and additional exams of the 2020-2021 academic year fall semester at Bahçeşehir University will be held online.

The implementation of the 2020-2021 fall semester exams in our university's programs has been reviewed by our university.

Following the discussions, considering that approximately one-fifth of our students are international students, a significant number of whom returned to their home countries during the COVID-19 period, and that traveling to Istanbul solely for exam periods could cause various difficulties for students living outside Istanbul under the pandemic measures, it has been assessed that:

1. Students and their families may be concerned about leaving their homes during this period of uncertainty, even for exams,
2. International students may not be able to obtain legal permission to leave their country of residence, even for exams,
3. Even if they obtain permission to leave their countries, it is unclear when transportation will return to normal,
4. If they are able to reach Türkiye, they will have to go through a quarantine period of at least 14 days,
5. Due to the mental and psychological strain experienced by both Turkish and international students during this period, they would not be able to take face-to-face exams with the desired efficiency.

For these reasons, it has been unanimously decided that final, resit and additional exams of the 2020-2021 academic year fall semester will be held online.
