Dear Students of the Faculty of Communication;
In accordance with BAU’s interpretation of a hybrid university, theoretical courses will be taught online in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. Nonetheless, the laboratories, studios and other activity areas in our faculty will be open throughout the entire semester and will be available to our academics and students who want to benefit from those.
The practical components of the curricula required in your courses will be carried in classrooms that have technologically been adapted to the hybrid system and structured by paying attention to hygiene rules.
During this period, our midterm and final exams are mainly planned to be assigned as projects. As the details become clearer, we will share information with you on our faculty website.
In addition, with the MS Azure virtual lab, you will be able to access all licensed software on the campus remotely and run the software at high performance regardless of the computer you are using.
The parts of certain courses that require practice can be done remotely on demand.
Distance internships that have been granted to you within Sectoral Collaborations will also be accepted by our faculty.
Besides all; you will have the opportunity to participate in sectoral and academic events on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Twitch, and Discord.
As the Faculty of Communication, we will continue to develop and produce together with our students, academics and all our stakeholders with whom we have the opportunity to collaborate, using digital opportunities in the most effective way.
We wish you all a very good academic year.
