Dear Students of the Faculty of Law,
As we are about to begin the new academic year, our university has switched to the hybrid model by making plans and a detailed study in accordance with the principles put into effect by CoHE in June.
In accordance with the standards set by CoHE, this model allowed up to 40% of the courses to be conducted online and the remaining courses face-to-face.
In accordance with the official letter on "Education and Training Processes in the New Coronavirus Outbreak" sent to all universities from CoHE on Friday, September 4, 2020, the 40% limit has been cancelled for the theoretical courses only for this semester.
Since we do not have a practical course that requires laboratory work, we have planned our practical courses based on both online and hybrid classes for verdict and case studies.
In the hybrid classrooms in our campuses, we will carry out some parts of our courses, such as practical studies, case study and verdict analysis, face-to-face with the students who choose to do so according to the calendar we will announce, within the framework of the pandemic rules. Students who cannot attend will be able to participate in all these online.
Finally, as a the university and faculty, we follow the decisions of CoHE. According to this, unless there is a different decision from CoHE and the situation changes, our courses will be held online and face-to-face in hybrid classes with small groups. In case of any change in CoHE's decisions, we are obliged to follow them.
Please follow our university's web page for detailed announcements to be informed about the news.
We wish you all a very good academic year.
