As of October 12, 2020, Monday, Bahçeşehir University's education process will begin and our campuses will be open to you, our valuable students.
We are pleased to announce that our academic year 2020-2021 will start on October 12, 2020 and that we, as BAU Family, work very hard to improve the quality of all our education and service processes with our Hybrid University model, where we have developed quality standards in accordance with international norms.
ABOUT THE EDUCATION MODEL
With the Hybrid Education model we have designed, the courses and/or some of the courses that will be the most efficient in online systems will be given through our corporate online systems or our newly established hybrid classes, shoe infrastructure and content have been strengthened. While all our students participate in the lessons in our online systems, you will be able to participate actively in the classes and participate in the classes online as you wish. In our new model, the proportion of our online courses in our programs does not exceed 40% in accordance with the framework specified by YÖK. In addition, the parts of our hybrid courses, which include face-to-face trainings in our campuses, do not exceed 40% of the hours of these courses with online support. In our campuses, we design your face-to-face learning experience, such as laboratories, applications, workshops, events, and project studies, in a way that you will get the highest efficiency.
ABOUT THE PREPARATION SCHOOL
Our English Preparation education is likewise designed with a hybrid education model and will continue at Bahçeşehir University Kemerburgaz Campus. A learning life away from negative factors awaits you, our valuable students, in our preparation campus with areas integrated with nature, open air sports areas, common living areas with the themes of science, technology, art, sports and design. Transportation to our campus will be provided by shuttles from Bahçeşehir University Beşiktaş South Campus and Zincirlikuyu Metrobus stop. In addition, we will launch UniTown dormitories with a capacity of 403 into service in our Kemerburgaz campus. In this new campus, we have prepared an environment where sports, art, library and social life are enriched for you.
ABOUT PANDEMIC MEASURES
The measures we have taken during Covid-19 pandemic, which deeply affects the whole world were determined and implemented at the campus entrances, mainly as body temperature control, social distance, mask use and disinfectant issues under the leadership of the BAU Scientific Committee.
We constantly follow the pandemic process and work with all of our units in order to adapt to every possible development and any direction that may come from YÖK and to make you benefit from quality, safe and uninterrupted education opportunities. Classroom settlements, social areas, support units and frequently used areas were rearranged according to pandemic conditions. Do not forget that your physical and mental health is always our top priority.
