Archi Design Talks BAU Online - Smart Buildings and Architecture After COVID-19

As part of the Bahçeşehir University Faculty of Architecture and Design "Archi-Design Talks / Architecture and Design Talks" series, on 15 June 2020 at 18:30, Eric Cassar, winner of the 2017 « Le Monde - Smart-cities » award and founder of the Paris-based Archenspace architecture and research office, and Tania Feldzer, architect and urban planner and founder of the Paris-Istanbul-based Kao Architecture, will speak on Smart Buildings and Architecture After COVID-19 .

The talk will introduce us to Eric Cassar's work focusing on the concept of "architecture in times" and to the new characteristics of designing buildings during and after the COVID-19 pandemic; it will also address the resilience of cities through smart buildings and our capacity to create new synergies.

Designing based on Cassar's concept of "n-spaces" means thinking about physical and digital relationships together; proposing connected architectural systems that will expand and enhance the field of change and perception; and increasing the flexibility and diversity of atmospheres.

*The talk will be held in English and broadcast live @bau_architecture on the Instagram account .
