Due to extraordinary situations on all over the world, we went for a rotation in office and we are mostly working from home.
Purpose of this announcement is to brief you about our library's capabilities, how to take advantage of these capabilities and how library staff can help you.
1. Beşiktaş Barbaros Library is open on weekdays between 10:00-17:30 within the approval of university board. Only service we are giving in library is borrowing and returning of books.
2. You can use all of our library's electronic resources from your home via remote access. Currently, the number of the electronic books you can access from home is 767.967. You can see more detailed information about these numbers in attachments.
3. Our database subscriptions is covering almost 90 databases which you can access from your home, and these databases contain more than 55.000 electronic journals. Unless there is a technical problem, these all of these resources are accessible 7/24. If you encounter a problem or if you have difficulties accessing electronic resources, our team's contact information is in attachments.
4. Inter library loan(ILL): Because other universities stopped their ILL services, we may not provide a healthy ILL service to you; but electronic resources are not affected by this situation.
