The Secrets of Vatican Were Compiled in a Book

In BAU the introductory meeting of the book named “Turkey and Vatican, Towards Diplomatic Relations” published in the light of secret archive documents of Vatican. The publisher of the book is Bahçeşehir University Publications and the author is Rinaldo Marmara.

Enver Yücel, the President of Board of Trustees made a speech in the launching and stated that “One of missions of the universities is to lead such cultural activities and publish in accordance with such intention. I see this as a step to make more publications about Vatican-Turkey relations.

Rinaldo Marmara, the Official Historiographer of Turkey Catholic Spiritual Leaders and Culture Cultural Attaché thanked Enver Yücel, the President of Board of Trustees of Bahçeşehir University for his efforts in publication of the book. Marmara, “The archives of the nations reflect their own policies. But there is no “nation” concept in the Vatican Archives. I did not write anything. I just let the documents talk”. And stated that he wished this book to be used as a reference.

Ambassador Antonio Lucibello, Vatican Government Representative and President of Interfaith Commission Yusuf Sağ presented themselves as well as academicians, spiritual representatives and press members. After the launching Rinaldo Marmara signed the books for Enver Yücel and Rector of BAU Prof. Dr. Şenay Yalçın, which includes selection from an archive of 70 thousand manuscripts, 100 thousand biographies, one million printed books, 100 thousand maps and drawings.
