“EDUCATION SHOULD LEAD FOR ALL INDUSTRIES”
“The solution of the problems of countries and the world is through mutual understanding, sharing and cooperation. This culture of sharing and common life needs to be adopted by all individuals from childhood. The most effective and only way to realize this is global and qualified education. Through this education and training, first of all, we can inform the world about the UN Sustainable Development Goals, create social awareness and common solutions to reach these goals by 2030. Education should be a leading structure for all industries.”
“INNOVATIVE EDUCATION MODELS SHOULD BE DEVELOPED”
“Innovative education models should be developed at every level in order to ensure that the young people receive education from preschool to master’s education. We need to make education qualified, inclusive and accessible. With the studies such as STEM+A, coding, robotics and world citizenship, we should raise generations that can produce sustainable solutions for the problems of the world and contribute to the development goals. For this, we must consider the role of women and provide equal opportunities in education for all girls and women in the world. All the barriers and impediments to women education should be removed. In order to contribute to equal opportunity, we must provide competence in science, technology, engineering and mathematics which will educate them for the new world order. We must encourage, support and increase labour force participation and employment.”
“A SUSTAINABLE PLANET SHOULD BE LEFT TO THE YOUNG PEOPLE”
“We must leave young people a sustainable planet. Therefore, we need to make everyone internalize the consciousness of producing and consuming as much as we need. More than 800 million people live on the breadline, and more than 750 million people are deprived of basic literacy skills in the world. On the other hand, military and armament spending in the world in approximately 1.8 million dollars per year. We should review our production and consumption priorities and carry out studies for current and essential needs.”
“WE SHOULD PROVIDE EQUAL OPPORTUNITY IN EDUCATION”
All sub-dimensions of the education such as content, methods, assessment and evaluation, should be rearranged on the basis of the sustainable development. For this, our principle should be equal opportunities in education which is included in the Human Rights Universal Declaration. As an instructor who has worked for more than 40 years for sustainable education, I realize that it is very long and difficult process. Therefore, we can leave a sustainable world to our young people who are the architects of the future by working together and making education global and qualified.”
