An Educational Bridge in Health Between BAU and Cuba

An agreement in the field of health sciences research was signed between Bahçeşehir University and the University of Medical Sciences of Havana, Cuba.

As part of his meetings in Cuba, Enver Yücel, Chair of the Bahçeşehir University Board of Trustees, met with officials from the Cuban Ministry of Health and the University of Medical Sciences of Havana.

Within the scope of the agreements signed during the meetings, joint projects, research, conferences, seminars, and short- and long-term student and academic exchanges will be carried out between universities in Cuba and Türkiye.

It is planned to establish a joint research center in collaboration with the University of Medical Sciences of Havana in the fields of biotechnology, genetic engineering and health, where Cuban and Turkish health experts can carry out research that creates added value.

During the visit, Yücel also met with the Minister of National Education and other officials.
