Students who had taken and passed “Seminar” and “Thesis-1” courses and had passed to the writing and jury defense phase “Thesis-2”, In order to fulfil graduation requirements must follow the below stated small calendar in terms of dates. The thesis advisors are responsible for the following dates as much as Thesis-2 students are.
Advisors, must check the plagiarism report of the theses work must be below %25 (as stated and approved in the regulations), must state their approval to the Graduate School for the first format control (with respect to the deadline).
No theses will be taken into format control unless all of the following three requirements are met: Jury proposal form, plagiarism report, and the hard copy of the thesis with the advisor’s approval.
Theses which are not approved by the the advisor will not be accepted into format control.
Theses taken into format control will be accepted as the thesis’s last version, no adding or removals could be done.
Theses, which are not accepted into format control or their format is not approved yet cannot enter Jury defense.
Adding or removals from the thesis means that thesis should get “thesis amendment” grade.
Completed and approved theses (in terms of format) by the Graduate School of Social Sciences must be submitted to jury members on the mentioned dates.
Jury defenses must take place within the dates stated in the calendar below, the students and the supervisors are responsible to make it happen.
Students who are found successful and their theses were approved must submit their theses binded with the blue cover, attaching all the required documents before the deadline, as their graduation decisions are taken upon that. Also; if the thesis advisor did not enter the grade as successful, even though the student has submitted the thesis and documents graduation decisions will not be taken as well until it is entered to the system.
Thesis Format Control:
The Thesis is edited and Checked by the Graduate School of Social Sciences. After a thesis is edited, the editor may request amendments.

Presentation of Thesis, and graduation requirements:
- The Thesis must be completed with the thesis advisor
- Theses must pass format check
- The Theses must be presented in front of a jury.
- The Graduate School of Social Sciences requires students to present the completed report.
- The presentation deadline is January 12, 2020.
- Following the presentation, the Presentation Evaluation Report must be filled out and signed by the advisor and committee members. The student must submit the report to the Graduate School of Social Sciences. (See Submission of Thesis).
- It is also possible to make presentations earlier than the deadline.
