What is MUDEK?
Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) is an independent organization operating with the aim of contributing to the improvement of the quality of engineering education by conducting accreditation, evaluation and information activities for engineering education programs in various disciplines.
In 2002, Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) was founded as an independent platform which is known as Engineering Evaluation Board by Engineering Deans Council composed of the deans of engineering faculties in Turkey and Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in order to organize and implement a detailed program for the evaluation of the engineering undergraduate programs for these faculties. Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) started to evaluate engineering programs in 2003 and became an association in 2007.
Apart from Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) administrative staff, all staff working in Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) boards, committees, working groups and accreditation evaluation teams work voluntarily without receiving any salary.
Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering (MUDEK) is a member of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education since November 17, 2006 and is a signatory (member) of Washington Accord (WA) since June 15, 2011.
