The 4th of the Innovation Management and Leadership Certification Programme (IMLEAP), implemented in cooperation with Siemens Healthineers and Boğaziçi University took place between 11-15 March this year. 129 applications from 23 different universities were made to the programme which aims to introduce innovative projects in health technologies. Within the scope of the program, the participants made visits to educational institutions and hospitals and participated in the competition with their projects on "healthcare solutions covering the lifespan of individuals from birth to elderly years" which was this year's theme.
BAU Engineering students were awarded two awards at the same time.
The group with our students Mohammed Shkokani from Biomedical Engineering Department and Ekin Doğa Gül, from Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Software Engineering double major program took the first prize with the project "Breast Cancer Treatment in the Future. Our student from Biomedical Enggineering Department took the runner-up prize with the project "The Personalized Health ATM" with her group.
