Times Higher Education (THE), the most prestigious rating agency in the world, announced the University Impact Ranking 2019. Bahcesehir University (BAU) is in the first 201 ranking in the “Quality Education” category and is on the 7th rank among the universities from Turkey in the ranking.
In the University Impact Ranking 2019, which is assessed in accordance with the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals, more than 450 universities from 76 countries are in the ranking. In the research, the evaluations have been made in 11 different categories named “Quality Education”, “Gender Equality”, “Decent Work and Economic Growth”, “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”, “Reduced Inequalities”, “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, “Responsible Consumption and Production”, “Climate Action”, “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, “Partnership for the Goals”. The research has been published by examining the social and economic impact of universities in these categories.
Bahcesehir University is in the first 201 ranking at the international level in the category of “Quality Education” among the foundation and state universities from Turkey. Bahcesehir University is on the 7th rank in the same category in Turkey, and on the 6th rank in the category of “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”, and on the 8th rank in the category of “Gender Equality”, and on the 10th rank in the category of “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, and on the 12th rank in the category of “Good Health and Well-Being”.
In the University Impact Ranking 2019, New Zealand University of Auckland took first, while Canada McMaster University took second and Canada the University of British Columbia, and the UK University of Manchester took third.
