Wizards - Cleveland competition played in the US capital Washington turned into Turkish night with the dances of the BAU Kardelen Folk Dance Group in the halftime and many Turkish spectators who came to support Cedi Osman, playing for Cleveland Cavaliers.
NBA, American professional basketball league, witnessed the "Turkish night”. In the halftime of the match impressing people with the colorful views, the show of the BAU Kardelen Folk Dance Group attracted great interest. The group exhibiting examples of Turkish folk dances received great applause from the hall.
BAU International University, which was founded four years ago, has added a new one to its activities in the development of Turkish-American relations. The NBA match between Wizards & Cleveland in Capital One Arena witnessed colorful moments. BAU Kardelen Folk Dance Group showed the Turkish Folk Dances in the circuit of the match where the American media was found. The Turkish Folk Dances showed by BAU Kardelen Team in the halftime of the match received great applause from the hall. American audiences as well as Turkish basketball fans watched the show with great interest.

Demet Cabbar, the President of the BAU Kardelen Folk Dance Society, saying that they have been performing in many NBA matches so far, determined that their aim is to introduce Turkish Folk Dances and Turkish culture to the masses in the USA. Cabbar, adding that they are proud of their performance as the BAU Kardelen Folk Dance Group, gave the Red Dragons scarf of Bahçeşehir College Sports Club to the Cleveland player Cedi Osman at the end of the match. After the match, Cedi Osman took a souvenir photo with his Red Dragons scarf of Bahçeşehir College Sports Club.
