We all are people who owe to Turkey and humanity. We shall certainly pay this debt. Turkey needs qualified people. We will never loose our connections at this point. Apart from Turkey, our other siblings’ coming here today and participating in our studies shows us that our world has extended beyond our geography.’
‘ We stand still at this place where we lost connection with generating knowledge. We are on the phase of regaining our strength. The most important step of this, is to join generating knowledge. The significant flares just like Aziz Sancar will light up the way. We will make our way faster in the direction they point us. Today, giving this award on behalf of Aziz Sancar is a matter of honour and pride for me’, Demircan asserted. Stating that they had founded TUSEB for great purposes, Minister Demircan said that ‘ Health should not be a branch that is below the other research institutions in Turkey, we established it for the purpose of displacing TUBITAK’s place.’
